Established in 2020 by three experts in chemical engineering, organic chemistry, and petroleum engineering, the company is based at the Energy Innovation Institute of Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic). The company’s primary objective is to provide technical expertise and tackle the challenges facing Iran’s oil industry by fostering interdisciplinary collaboration between petroleum engineering and related fields. One of its flagship products is a heavy and optimized packer fluid, developed using high-quality raw materials sourced domestically in Iran. This fluid serves as a substitute for calcium bromide, which is mostly imported. Currently, Petro Sayal Amirkabir is in negotiation with several companies in the oil and gas industry for the large-scale production and commercialization of this product.
